Austin Nelson has always had a passion for helping people. He graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2009, with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in English. During his award-winning career as a journalist in Alabama, he reported on crime, the courts, and governments, seeking to expose corruption and keep the public informed on how their government conducted business. In time, it became clear that the best way to protect the Constitutional rights afforded to all citizens was not to report on the injustices he saw, but to fight the system from the inside. 

Since then, he never looked back. During law school at the University of Colorado, he found litigation and trial practice to be exactly what he was seeking - it offered a way to help real people, one case at time. For the past 5 years, that is exactly what he has done - whether it was negotiating a favorable plea disposition or walking his clients out the courtroom door after a not guilty verdict, he fought tirelessly to get his clients the result they needed. After more than 40 trials, representing both private and indigent clients, his path led him back to the Southeast, where his goal was to provide top-notch representation at a price his clients could afford. The Law Office of Austin Nelson was born.
